Covid 19 Updates
Dear KEY Families and Visitors,
Since the beginning of the pandemic, our objective is to exceed the provincial health guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our staff and students. We have purchased the most advanced technology in sanitization, an electrostatic sprayer, which is a tool currently used by top private schools and hospitals. The device utilizes an EPA registered hospital disinfectant, cleaner, mold killer, and odor eliminator. Its’ formula contains a unique form of stabilized chlorine dioxide that is very effective at killing bacteria, viruses, and mold yet non-corrosive to treated articles and gentle enough to handle without skin irritation.
The biggest recent change to the provincial health order is with respect to vaccination guidelines for non-essential businesses. As an organization that works with students under 12 years old, who are unable to be vaccinated, we believe it is imperative for all adults who enter our centre to be vaccinated, which includes staff and parents. For our staff, Jessica Meng will be asking staff to provide proof of vaccination so that we have a record for all of our staff working at our centres. For all new staff who work in our centres, we will be asking them to provide proof of vaccination, which is aligned with the provincial health order.
For all adults visiting our centres who are eligible to be vaccinated, they must make an appointment before they visit and fill out the health declaration form. They will also need to provide proof of vaccination, and we will take a record. These policies are in place to ensure the safety of all of our staff and students.
Visitors to the Centre:
Since the fall semester, we have had some updated policies with respect to visitors to our centre:Classes:
All LS classes and initial assessments will be in-person. This approach is for the benefit of our youngest students - online learning has been a real challenge and was offered as a last resort during the pandemic. Since these students are not eligible to be vaccinated, we want to make sure that students are safe, and teachers will be wearing masks in the classroom. For JS students, we will be offering select classes - SSAT and UYSS - and Study Hall in person.Client Visits and In-Person Meetings:
We encourage students, clients, and visitors to contact us virtually to minimize non-essential in-person visits to our campuses. All initial consultations and consulting service delivery meetings will remain on-line. Strategy meetings will be offered as a secondary option if the BU head determines that it would be in the best interests of serving the client. To make an appointment or to learn more about our services, please contact us through any of the following methods:- Phone: 604 638 5398

We are taking every precaution necessary to ensure the health and safety of our students and families by closely following the social distancing rules and restrictions issued by the responsible authorities. We have also set up guidelines for our staff and visitors to follow so that we can do our part to limit the spread of COVID-19 and to adhere to physical distancing guidelines.
Please read our guidelines carefully before visiting our campuses, or taking your children to our in-person classes
Given the changing nature of the situation, we will keep you informed of any changes or updates.
We appreciate your understanding, and we hope that you and your family stay safe.
